Keep, cue, send.

Quick start

1. Press Control–Option–Space for Quick Capture from the app where you are working.
2. Choose Stash for material worth keeping or Cue for what you want to send next.
3. Open CueStash from the menu bar, select a cue, and send it back to the active app.
4. Move completed cues to Archive so the working surface stays small.

Accessibility permission

CueStash does not need Accessibility access for global capture, local organization, search, or copying an item. Control–Option–C requests selected-text capture. Grant Accessibility access only if you want selected-text capture and automatic send-back. If permission is not granted, CueStash copies the cue for manual paste.

Where the library lives

The application keeps its working library locally in an encrypted vault and provides a readable JSON export action in Settings. CueStash does not sync the workspace or send it to an AI provider.

Trial and licenses

The full application includes a 14-day local trial. A paid individual license covers one person on up to three Macs. Deactivate an old Mac from Settings before moving the license to a replacement.

Compatibility

CueStash requires macOS 14 or later and is built for both Apple silicon and Intel. It is a Mac application; the website is responsive, but there is no iPhone app in version 1.
